HVAC Consulting & Design  Put S&P in the Middle
S&P supervises contractors (construction managers) to assure that the installation is performed correctly and to appropriate standards.

For commercial accounts a commissioning approach is used during start up of the equipment. This assures proper air distribution and verifies that the unit is performing at the highest efficiency rating.  These are key elements which will add life to the equipment and use the least amount of energy.

With so many different brands and efficiency ratings available for home heating and air conditioning units, S&P will help you dig through the advertising and will explain what the different ratings/equipment will mean to your current utility bills and which units have a better track record.

From start to finish, S&P will help you purchase the right equipment, make sure it's installed correctly, confirm that it's operating efficiently, and most important give you peace of mind knowing that you received the most value for your money.

S&P performs heat loss and heat gain calculations which are used to properly size the HVAC equipment. This involves learning all of the details of the building envelope and internal operating characteristics. Contractors often size equipment on square feet or another rule of thumb. We offer the engineering expertise to provide a comfortable indoor environment.
S&P holds a Universal Refrigeration Certification (cfc certified). All parties who purchase or work on refrigeration/ac systems must be certified. This is related to the Montreal Protocol (venting refrigerant and improper use)

S&P can provide calculations for temperature setback. Temperature setback allows night time or 24 hour programming for comfort and savings.  S&P offers temperature setback calculations for both residential and commercial environments.

S&P can perform a thorough Air Conditioning System Analysis.  This includes gauge and temperature readings which aid in determining the correct refrigerant charge (Available during 65 or warmer temperatures).
